NEW POST!!! HAHA!

Okay, Okay... I know I have not been very faithful keeping this up, but here is what has happened in my life.

Dec. 2007 I graduated from College and moved back home. After sending out hundreds of resumes and having my resume on the Youth Ministry Job Hunt website. I had nothing! So I moved home to the wonderful small town of Bowling Green. Even though my Dad has been then pastor here for 5 years I have only lived here on Christmas Breaks and a summer. It is like a new territory for me that I know how to get around, but I do not know many people at all my age. The only people I knew are not here or around anymore and others we have grown apart and do not talk to one another except in passing. A couple of those friendships I wish I still had, but they are gone. :'( I guess life goes on. So here I am jobless living at home.
BUT God is so good and has come out of the silences and shown Himself to me once again. I am in an interview process with Round Oak Baptist Church! Let me just tell you how good God is. This church is 12 miles from my parents house! AMAZING! I sent resumes all over the US and ended up talking seriously to a church right here in my community! So Wed. I am meeting the students, Sat. I am meeting the church family, and Sunday I am giving my testimony. They are going to vote the next Sunday (the 10th!) I am excited to see where God is going to take me, but truely sad to leave the students at Bowling Green because we have had some breakthroughs lately with some kids and I don't really want to leave them, but God is working and hopefully He will send someone either full time or permante part time.

OH get this so this morning at Freeway 8:36 we showed a Madonna Video! No worries it was clean! It was Material Girl! Can you (that know BGBC) imagine Madonna in church here?! OH GOSH! BUT guess what..... it went over so well! We have heard only positive feedback so far! We also switched up the worship order and had the video first then the sermon then the praise and worship music then the offering at the end so people wouldn't have to worry about getting it ready early. IT WAS SO GOOD! Oh we also had DRUMS! AmAzInG!

GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!
