Camp/King's Fest

Okay so camp... It was priceless. Everything that I wanted to happen with the group happened! The first thing being they actually came together as a group! YaYah! I'm excited! We played in the water most of the time, but had some really in depth discussions. Even now the group is talking about inside jokes that happened on the trip and how much fun it was and how they want to go back next year. I'm so happy that they are getting what this life is all about! Having one student say that he actually feels apart of a youth group now is one of the best feelings I have ever gotten because I know it's not me doing anything, but it's the Lord!

Since it's been a couple of weeks since camp Wed. night have been super low and we had some full church things and a Wednesday night to just chill... Yest. on the other had I had some youtube videos about a Christ Follower vs a Christian. We talked about what it really means to follow Christ and maybe we don't need to be perfect and proper all the time, but we do need to reflect Christ! We had 11 kids last night so i was definitely stoked! I'm so glad that a fire is starting to burn in some of them!

King's Fest was awesome and my students who went that did not go to camp are bummed out and that is like 5 or 6 students! They told me we should do another camp this summer! hahah! yeah right! I got to build some relationships with students that i previously did not have much of one with and got to go deeper with others! On Sunday two sisters showed up at early service ON TIME who are usually dragging in for the 2nd service, but they got up and got their mom up because they wanted to come to church! I'm super excited to see where the future takes us!
