The Body

I am overwhelmed and so filled with emotions right now. Today at Vintage we had a "Family Meeting" which is like a business meeting at any other church. Our Music Minister has resigned to focus on God and his family. It was a decision made by both the Vintage church council type thing and the former Music Minister. Here's the thing when Rob (our pastor) asked if we had any questions NO ONE asked for specific reasons... but one guy spoke up and asked if there was anything like a card or something that we (the church body) could do for them. THAT is being the CHURCH! Seriously, when was the last time we (the church in whole) cared more about the people than the gossip about the people.

Church at Vintage is how I see the Church needing to be... Full of Grace, Love, and Discipline.... WoW.... God is so good.

God is teaching me so much... I feel like He has put me in this city, school, job, and church for a reason... I'm not sure why yet, but it's HIS plan that's for sure! So, hopefully He will continue to reveal bits and pieces to me!
