Christmas MUST be something MORE

So, Taylor Swift has a Christmas album (only available at Target) and I think the best song is titled "Christmas Must be Something More." You know what a HUGE fan I am of Christmas and Christmas music, but this is one of my Year 'Round songs! I love Christmas because we can really focus on Christ. This past Sunday I had the privilege of sitting under my dad's preaching. He told a small story and I think it fits with this song! On black friday a lady was covered in packages, she was rushing and ran into an elevator packed with people. When she got situated she said, "Whoever invented this Holiday should be strung up and killed." A man from the back of the elevator said, "He already has been." Does that shock you liked it shocked me? Do we really forget or not know about the real Reason for the Season?!

Man, That song really speaks to what is true! Christmas is about much more than the craziness of shopping and Santa... it's about Jesus who was born to save us!
