Long Time Coming

So,  it's been a while since I've posted and for that I'm sorry! I have been running from one thing to the other and then I took a week for vacation!

The first weekend in May we had a Women's Retreat! The theme was "When Life Hands You Lemons..." We went through the book of Esther. Esther is a book that is near and dear to my heart. From the time I was in preschool I have been in LOVE with this book! I used to make my mom read the ENTIRE book to me every night before I went to bed.

I never saw this as a LOVE story... Seriously, it never dawned on my that it was a love story. As I talked to some of my single friends, they don't read it that way either! So I guess those people who are in love see it that way... IDK?! I see it as a strong woman who stepped out of her comfort zone... She was scared like many of us are when we are faced with crappy circumstances, but the difference is.... instead of letting her fear get ahold of her she "put on her big girl panties" and said "If I perish, I perish" and got the job done! It took Prayer and Fasting for her to be able to say that, but so many times we pray and then REFUSE to put on our big girl panties and JUST DO IT!

Needless to say the weekend was fantastic and everything was great! God really did a great work!
