Your Element

My life has never been the same since I was a sophomore in college... God called me into student ministry. Whenever I'm not in student ministry I feel lost... I feel like I'm not doing what God has called me to do so what I am doing is pointless... Now, that I am back in the saddle I feel alive again! I am reminded everyday, even my days off, that I am where God wants me. When I sit at a wrestling meet and have a conversation about salvation with a 9th grader I am reminded that I am where God wants me... When I go to swim meets and sit there forever just to watch 2 events, and the kid is SO happy I drove the hour.... I am reminded that I am where God wants me... When I'm in my kitchen with teenage girls cooking... I am reminded that I am where God wants me.... In Student Ministry! I love my new job and know that I am still in the honeymoon stage. I love interacting with teenagers and how much they teach me about the Christian walk.

So, what's your element? Where do you feel the most at home? Where do you feel like God uses you the most? If you are not in that place WHY?! What's holding you back? Are you scared to get out of the boat?
