God in Sweet Home Alabama?

Sometimes I take movies like this that are all romantic and spin them a different way... I'm not always a super girlie girl, but I love a good chick flick. Every time I want to watch a chick flick and can't decide I always pick Sweet Home Alabama. I'm not sure why, but it is my "go to" movie. I think part of it is because no matter what Melanie did to Jake, he still loved her. It reminds me of as much as we slap God in the face He still loves us!

Sometimes all of my failures flash in front of my face. I remember all of those times I have failed God. As much as I try to hear his voice in my life sometimes I take over. Sometimes I don't listen to God and that really causes me to fail. 

So, how do we hear God? We sit and ponder after some massive amounts of prayer. We talk to godly people in our lives and listen to what they have to say. The biggest thing we can do along with prayer is to read the Word.  God will always lead us in the way HE would have us to go... We just need to let him!

So, How many times have you felt like you let God down? How many times has He brought you up? How many times can you go back to Him knowing He still loves you?

My life verse is Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall. " So, no matter what He is ALWAYS there!
