Truth?

We've been studying 4 Lies that people tell us about the Bible for the last 2 weeks on Wednesday nights. This past week was "The truth shall set you free."

Jesus does say this in John 8:32, but He isn't talking about us telling the truth and that will set us free. Instead He is talking about Himself... believing that He is the Son of God is the TRUTH that sets us free! He is the only one who has absolute truth because His truth comes from God the Father.

When on the stand in a court room we are asked to tell the truth, but what are they really asking? They are asking us to tell our perception and our view of what we saw. So, can we really tell others the truth without  telling them about Christ?
